Since birth, the turned its back to Felicia; she was a crack baby, born rather early, and was only three pounds in weight. However, she somehow survived in an incubator. She was raised in a foster home, however, the genes had done their part, and she became a drug dealer when she hit her teens. When she was 14 years old, she shot and killed a girl, named Okia Toomer. As a result, Felicia was sentenced to eight years in prison, but was released after six and a half years.

While in prison, Felicia began to turn her life around, and completed the GED, even before her release. Following her sentence, Felicia looked for a job, however, the fact that she had a criminal record and had spent years in prison, drastically reduced the chances of finding one. Eventually, she found one fabricating car bumpers in a local store, however, after only two weeks, she was fired, because the employer found out she had a record.

Fortunately, her life turned around in 2004, when she met and befriended Michael K. Williams, who was a cast member of the TV series “The Wire”. He proposed that she audition for a part in the series, and after accepting the offer, the rest became history. The writers created a character based on her life, and even kept the name. Her tenure in the series lasted until 2008, during which her net worth increased to a large degree.

Following the cancellation of her character, Felicia decided to stay in the entertainment industry, trying to launch a musical career, but also appearing in several music videos, and also films. Her other acting credits include appearances in such creations as “They Die by Dawn” (2012) and “Chi-Raq” (2015). Most recently, she has been selected for roles in the films “Guns and Grams” (2016), and “As the Freak Takes You” (2016), which have also increased her net worth.

Felicia has also featured in music videos for songs including “Cash Flow”, performed by Ace Hood, “The Boss”, sang by Rick Ross, and Lil’ Mo’s “Dem Boyz”, among others, which also contributed to her net worth.

Regarding her personal life, Felicia`s habits didn`t die even after she was given a break to start a career as an actress – she was arrested in 2011 for drug use, and was sentenced to three years of supervised probation, and also seven years suspended prison time. Aside from her problems with the law, other aspects of her life remain mysterious to the media. Regardless, Felicia has become a prison visitor, and also been involved in the ‘Stay Strong Foundation’ which encourages teenagers to abstain from drug abuse and associated violence.
