Ken Griffey Jr is a former professional baseball player.

He has been inducted into both the Mariners’ Hall of fame and the Reds hall of fame. He was then elected to the Baseball hall of fame in 2016, with a vote percentage of 99.32% of the vote.

This broke the record of 98.84% for Tom Seaver which had been standing for 24 years.

Ken Griffey Jr was born in Donora, Pennsylvania to Ken Griffey Sr and his wife Alberta Griffey.

Ken Griffey Sr is a former professional baseball player. He has played with multiple teams including the Cincinnati Reds, the New York Yankees, the Atlanta Braves.

He joined the Seattle Mariners a year before his retirement in 1991. There, he played alongside his son, making them the first father and son to be teammates in Major League Baseball.

He retired after 19 seasons in MLB.
